We had an amazing 4th of July in La Conner! It's always so nostalgic here... first of all because of our story thirteen years ago... second of all because I found out I was pregnant with Gavin on this day seven years ago!
We started off the day by going to a parade... that we missed by fifteen minutes. :(
The good news is they had lots of fun things to do afterward at a nearby park!
Fishin' for prizes!
Doesn't Ella look like she's running a marathon here? Ha!
Treasure hunting with daddy!
A watermelon eating contest!
Face painting
I couldn't believe Ella sat still to have her face painted! I'm guessing it's because she's been watching her momma put on makeup each morning!
All tuckered out from the fun.
Swinging with Papa
Ice cream!
Fourth of July jello!
Ella with her great-grandpa! She cuddled right into him... so sweet!
Silly boy!
A flower for his mama
Picking flowers with GG
The kids were having their own Fourth of July parade ;)
Love these gorgeous sunsets on the channel!
Keeping warm for the fireworks!
God Bless America.
