Fourth of July

We had an amazing 4th of July in La Conner!  It's always so nostalgic here... first of all because of our story thirteen years ago... second of all because I found out I was pregnant with Gavin on this day seven years ago!

 We started off the day by going to a parade... that we missed by fifteen minutes.  :( 

 The good news is they had lots of fun things to do afterward at a nearby park!

 I couldn't believe Ella sat still to have her face painted!  I'm guessing it's because she's been watching her momma put on makeup each morning!
