It was so much fun to plan a little GIRL party!!

 Okay, I have to admit that up until now... we didn't have many girly things in our house.  Ella did get some presents when she came home on Christmas Eve, but mostly things for a baby.

 It has been so much fun to see her play with all of her new girly things... she just loves them all!  It's a whole new world for me!

 I wasn't sure if she would know what to do with the candle, so we practiced earlier that day and she blew it right out!  When the big moment came though, I think she felt overwhelmed with all of the singing and attention?  She stared at the candle but would not blow it out.

 Gavin was right there to help her though!  ;)

 She definitely liked eating it, that's for sure!

It was a busy day, as we went straight from Ella's party to Adam's retirement ceremony!  Whew!
