Our adoption journey

November 6, 2010 - Prayed for God to show us that it was His will for us to adopt (Little did we know, our sweet girl entered this world!)

November 7, 2010 - Orphan Sunday! Our prayer is answered beyond our wildest dreams

November 9, 2010- Mailed our application to EAC, our soon-to-be adoption agency (Ella's birth mom signed the paperwork to give her up)

January 20, 2011- Found our home study agency

January 28, 2011- Mailed our agency registration to EAC

February 3, 2011- Fingerprints

March 23, 2011- Home study visit

April 22, 2011- Home study is complete

May 17, 2011- Dossier is notarized, apostilled, and mailed to EAC

May 25, 2011- Mailed I-600A to USCIS

June 23, 2011- Received the phone call with our referral!

October 28, 2011- Our agency called with our first travel dates!!

November 12-17, 2011- First trip to Russia

December 2-6, 2011- Second trip to Russia

December 17-24, 2011- Third trip to Russia

December 20, 2011- Gotcha Day!

December 24, 2011- Bringing our baby girl home!!
