Bits and pieces

It feels so great that our new normal is becoming normal!  Ella has been home for three months now and we can't imagine life without her.

Believe it or not, it actually snowed a few weeks ago!  (For a few hours anyway.  ;)
We are finally seeing bits and pieces of spring though... thank goodness!!
 Helping Grammy in the garden

Ella loves her Ergo time with momma!
Our boys love crafts and come up with the most creative ideas all on their own!  (Which is a blessing since their mommy is a bit craft-challenged ;)

Just a sweet picture of our sweet girl!
Playing with Casey in the sandbox...
...she realized really fast that sand doesn't taste very good!
Ella's shirt says "I was so worth the wait" and
"I didn't give you the gift of life... life gave me the gift of you."
Ella's new hair!  (A game we play when we put on pajamas at bedtime)

Ella sneaks in the pantry for treats whenever she gets a chance!
Who wouldn't give this sweet face a few goldfish??
We probably set a record for how early in the year we built our first campfire.  It was a beautiful spring evening (I mean it wasn't raining?) and we couldn't resist!

 We couldn't resist s'mores either!
Already counting down the days to summer!

St. Patrick's Day Fun!

I love doing the little things on holidays that make my kids so excited!

Just a little green milk...

Makes green pancake batter....
Makes green swedish pancakes!
Knowing how much my boys love scavenger hunts, I thought that might make for a fun morning too.
Sy happened to have the first clue!
The boys took turns reading the clues.  (Gotta love their bed head!)

It wasn't long before they found the pot of gold!

Ella joined in for the coloring sheets.

They all picked out a green shirt, just to be safe from the pinching.  ;)
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Trying a chocolate gold coin
And a shamrock shake for lunch!

Later that evening, we made rainbow cupcakes for dessert!

Just a girl and her balloon

We did bring balloons (along with other toys) to the orphanage for Ella to play with.  Gavin's birthday was her very first experience with inflated balloons though!  She loved it!

Sweet girl!
