Time to dye Easter eggs!
Casey had just gotten up from his nap, so he wasn't so sure what to think about all of the colored cups and eggs.
He started out by curiously watching his brothers to see what he should do.
Daddy helped him color his first eggs.
Since he kept trying to eat the colored egg, shell and all, we peeled one for him. Apparently, they tasted pretty good because he couldn't eat it fast enough! (Gavin even tried one after watching Casey, but it wasn't long before he spit it out all over the table. :)
Jacob was pretty meticulous about placing all of the stickers in the right places and dying them to perfection (without getting his hands colored in the process). As you can see, he took this job super seriously.
Gavin just went for it. He gave up on the egg holder and decided that using his hand to take each egg in and out of the different colors was much more fun.
For the first time in egg coloring history, I just let Jacob and Gavin have fun decorating their eggs how they liked. It was definitely messy... but they loved it. They even turned out pretty cute.
After we cleaned up the mess, there were some warm Easter chocolate chip cookies waiting for us to eat.
