A night with our neighborhood

I remember driving by our clubhouse last summer and seeing huge inflatables, food, clowns, a rock wall, and thinking... wow, what a fun party! Little did I know, everyone in our neighborhood was invited. So this year we made sure not to miss it. :)

The best part was that everything (no kidding, everything) was free! How often does that happen?! It all started out with a circus train going five miles an hour down our main street. Stopping at each development, they picked you up and escorted you to the clubhouse. It was a beautiful night and we had so much fun with our neighbors.

The boys started out by jumping on and climbing through the inflatables

There was a clown who made balloon animals for them (both of which were accidently popped within five minutes ;)Next, they picked out some spray-on tattoes...
Jacob was pretty sad when his came off in the bathtub though ;)

We had a picnic dinner of hot dogs, chips, and pop on the grass
I thought Jacob was pretty brave to try out the rock wall. He is usually a little monkey, climbing them at the playground in no time at all. The towering height of this one was a little intimidating though... so was the repelling. :)
So he climbed up three rocks and decided that was enough for him!
There was unlimited cotton candy and snow cones...
and we watched a helicopter land right in front of us!

Once we had seen, eaten, and played on everything, we took the circus train back home...
