We started off our Fourth of July by stopping by to visit my grandma. She lives in a cute little town that happened to have some cute little Fourth of July festivities... ;)
These were hilarious. Little tubes intricately placed together to make a "marshmallow blaster". If you blow hard enough, the marshmallows seriously shoot across the field. Perfect for little boys. ;)
Then we were off to Papa and GG's house! It's always so beautiful being right by the channel on a sunny day.
Casey was watching my sister-in-law paddle board and my brother-in-law kite.
Casey's cousin Olivia is only three weeks older. They are so cute together!
Cupcakes before dinner? Okay, it's the Fourth of July!
So many fun things to do at Papa and GG's house!
Watching the sun go down...
Let the fireworks begin!
My friend (in the middle) who introduced me to my sister-in-law (on the right), who introduced me to my husband!
Speaking of Adam, he happened to be on-call in California over Fourth of July weekend. :( However, he got a layover in Seattle, drove all the way up to his parent's house, and surprised me with a huge hug in the middle of all the fireworks! What an amazing end to an amazing day!
(Only daddy would make Gavin a cheeseburger at ten o'clock at night! ;)
